Since the subject matter is not what I usually read, i don't think this is the place for any pithy humour or observations. With regards to the writing I found it very good and to me it flowed well, I did not have to struggle to read the piece and it was over before i realized it. Regarding the subject matter itself the impression I got was that it almost brutally honest and that it was told as is with no attempt to make yourself ( as the piece is semi-biographical) look better as no doubt the temptation is always there. I felt that you were reasonably well balanced towards the other characters in the stories without bashing them. The story is very descriptive, and I liked that as I am always partial to stories that err on the side of too much description, but that's just me. The story is quite a good insight into how clinical depression affects a person how others can be unsympathetic as there doesn't seem to be any obvious cause and effect. Anyhow based on today, you seem far removed from the person in the story and may you never revert.
